This new mermaid design was created digitally on a recent trip to Japan. In Japanese folklore “ningyo” translates to human fish or mermaid. While tradition images of a ningyo were hideous creatures, more fish with a human face, I have made her beautiful and named her Mizuki which means water moon.

Each piece is unique and colour may vary slightly.

Pair her with the Blue small arch tile for a gallery wall collection
