Not Just A Rug But A Piece Of Art! This One Of A Kind Moroccan Vintage Treasure Is A Marmoucha Rug
Size: 312 x 181 - Low - Med Pile
“Dusk” is made by a tribe in Morocco called Marmoucha. They have the highest quality wool in all of Morocco and they no longer make rugs here. This is the most expensive rug was have imported due to quality in wool, the rareness and the absolute perfect state she’s in.
Our Moroccan Rugs are all one of a kind, vintage and handmade by skilled artisans. Each piece varies in make, colour, design, size, and feature. As our Moroccan Rugs are vintage and have lived a life prior to purchase, edges that aren't straight, natural fading, repairs and marks are typical characteristics, while additional imperfections and wear patterns may be evident. This does not make them faulty, however we believe these visual elements only enhance their story of being truely unique treasures. These items are stunning artistic masterpieces for the home.
Care: We recommend vacuuming your Moroccan Rug on a low setting to prevent build up of dirt and debris. Please try to avoid using a vacuum with a motorised head to prevent pulling/tearing the woollen fibres. When vacuuming, always go with the direction of the fibres. Alternatively, take your rug outside and give it a good shake or lightly beat, and allow it to air our in the direct sunlight for a couple of hours.
If there are any spills, spot clean immediately with a damp cloth (no detergent if can be avoided).
Visit your local carpet/rug cleaner to get it professionally cleaned every 1-2 years. Please always check that your cleaner is experienced in cleaning vintage Moroccan rugs. Alternatively if you have the space you can hand wash your rug by hosing with cold water and let it dry in the warm sun. Please always make sure you do a spot test first to make sure the colours don't run and perhaps check your local weather to ensure the sun will be shinning to dry your rug off properly.
We try our best to photograph our rugs to their true colour, however actual colours may vary, this is due to the fact that every computer monitor, laptop, tablet and iPhone screen has a different capability to display colours and that everyone sees these colours differently.
