Our Journey Home
An Aboriginal piece designed by Leah Cummins -Bunya Design.
The Story Behind It -
"Our journey home is a piece inspired by our many journeys home. The hills represent different places that we have lived during our life, the river is the connections to the Indigenous lands and gives us nourishment while travelling.
The Indigenous ꓵ symbol represents a person, these people sitting around in a circle are those that we have met with along our journeys.
We sit, we yarn and we are connected.
The people we meet along all our journeys leave a memory, these memories are each circle and dot."
